Lambs Ear - Stachys byzantina
DESCRIPTION
I LOVE Lambs Ear... You'll probably hear that a lot in my descriptions, but it's true, this plant is cool! Lamb's ear, has thick, soft, velvety, silver-gray leaves which quickly form a spreading mat about 4-6" off the ground. Spikes of tiny, purplish-pink flowers appear in summer rising above the foliage to 10-18" tall. It's nectar attracts honey bees like crazy! Lambs Ear looks really good when coupled with large rocks.
I collected a ton of seeds from my Lams Ear, if you would like some, let me know!
