Cone Flower - Echinacea
DESCRIPTION
Cone Flower is a great source of nectar for honey bees. Purple Cone Flower makes a lovely addition to any garden and they make great cut flowers.
Cone Flower comes in a large number of varieties, be sure to choose varieties that do not have double flowers! Double flowers don't often provide pollen or nectar, or they block pollinators from accessing it's pollen and nectar. Also, many double flowers are sterile, and won't provide seeds for the birdies.
